  1. Ann

Thanks for sharing Grady with us. He’s such a happy (and smart) child. He’s also very fortunate to have parents who spend so much time and love with him.

P.S. I’m glad he knew to eat the icing on the cupcake firstπŸ˜€πŸŽ‚

    • Ann, thanks so much! I’m glad you gave me the incentive to post a few videos. I’ll try to post some more soon. He’s changing fast now! I got a kick out of how he smacked his lips when he licked the frosting off his fingers. He must have gotten that from me. πŸ˜€

  2. I had to stop at the ‘Grady Denton’ Gallery before I retire to bed for my beauty sleep, HA. His personality matches his extreme cuteness. Such a sunny sole, loved all the giggling and how he carefully picked up his cake in the Birthday Video. Pinky pointing out while cleaning up the other! Bravo, well done GD.
I’m sure he’s the light of joy wherever he goes and soon, there will be more joy around. He’s a good boy when daddy talks too. Yah Grady, keep on-keeping on! xo

    • You always seem to notice the same things I do– that pinky detail was my favorite part of that clip. He has been a pure joy this year. They grow so fast, he’s like a different kid every time we see him. This year we are being treated to “Yes Ma’am” and “No Ma’am” and complete, grammatically correct sentences, mixed in with a mind like a steel trap and a huge sense of humor. There were tons of gifts for him under the tree, but he had to be prompted to go for each one of them, because he would focus on playing with the gift he had just opened, fascinated and not eager for more. The fire truck seems to be the hands-down favorite, though, followed closely by the cheap (one dollar) recorder I picked up on impulse at Target. And he still loves the curling ribbon as much as always. In fact, we spent much of Christmas Eve just playing with curling ribbon! I had a whole box full of it and we had a blast. OK, we interrupt this Grandmother Moment to return to regular programming. It has been brought to you by K’s kind words and encouragement– thank you Boomdee, the Grandmother’s favorite listener!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
